"If Megan is considered the' t spokesperson for kids her [ age," said her principal, Pete Guzman, "in my opinion, they couldn't have picked a better person. She is the ideal student and just a fantastic person." For her part, Mashaw said that i if she were to deliver a message for her fellow students it'd be about the benefits of staying in school and going to college. And she has another very big message for them as they all grow UP and become adults. "When they have kids," she said, "they should teach their kids not to do drugs." Mashaw, who was a St. Francis Fiesta Princess in 2007, said she likes school "sometimes." Her favorite subject is math .and she acknowledges that she is good at it. Her favorite sports are Softball and basketball and her favorite food, actually, is dill pickles.
