Page 2 Adela Carh ajal Cardenas May 11, 1923 dune 25, 2011 Adela Carbajal Cardenas passed away June 25, 2011, at age 88. She was bom to Carmen Carbajal on May 11,19230 in Miami. Adela was preceded in death by her husband. Cruz G. Cardenas; brothers, Celso and Angel Carbajal; and. sisters. Belen Martinez, Lucy Jvng ,and, Mary Carbajal She is survived by her children, Vera (Danny) Friend, Rosemary (Frank) Sanchez. Cruz (Christina) Cardenas, Nellie (Rudy) Perez, Ponciano (Rachel) Cardenas. Angle Cardenas. Della Cardenas. Joey (Hilda) Cardenas, and. Johnny Cardenas. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 43 great- grandchildren. Nothing brought more joy to Adela than spending time with her family, friends, and, watching novelas. Services will be held Friday, July 1, at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Rosary will be held at 9 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. and interment at Fairview Cemetery. Bom April 23, 1923 in Minyara Akar, Lebanon, he came to America in 1955. He moved to Superior in 1957. He worked for Magma Copper Company at the mill for one year. He then owned and operated the Superior Dry Cleaners for 30 years before retiring. Ramzy enjoyed life, staging, dancing and playing golf. He was a charter member of the Queen Valley Golf Course where he played every Tuesday and Friday until two years ago. He had a full life and always praised God for all he had been given in life, especially his family. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Peggy; daughters, Sandra Saoud Pike (Mike) and Cindy Johnston (Joe); grandchildren, Ramzy and Cassy Saba, James Johnston (Becca), and William Johnston (Ashley I; brothers, Salameh. Fahim, and Jaarfar. His many nieces, nephews and friends who loved him dearly will miss him. Pinal County and the Arizona Office oVital Records have had the same fee schedule since 2002. Vith the passage of Senate Bill 1612, which was signed into la by the Governor, a statewide fee increase was approved. EffeCtive July 1, the amount charged for birth and death certificates issued by Pinal County will change as follows: • Certified copy of birth or death certificates was $10, will be $20 after July 1 • Amendments/corrections/establishment of patemity on birth certificates was $23, will be $30after July 1 • Amendments/corrections on dOath certificates was $23, will be $30 after July 1 • Non-certified copies of birth or death certificates was $3, will be $5 after July 1 The fee for amendments and corrections for birth or death certificates includes one certified copy of the amended certificate. Any requests for birth or death certificates that are received prior to July 1 will be fulfilled at the existing rates. "If someone anticipates a need 4or a birth or deathvertificate for any purpose, we recommend filing now," said Tom Schryer, Director of Public Health. "We anticipate an increased volume of requests between now and July 1." Arizona is a closed records state, meaning that you have to meet certain criteria to obtain birth and death certificates.
